Where the project started
Açık Medikal sells respiratory therapy devices and medical consumables. This is not ordinary retail stock: devices such as EzPAP and Acapella are part of a patient’s daily treatment. A product that shows as available but cannot be delivered means more here than a late parcel.
The company wanted to sell through both its own site and several marketplaces. At that scale the hard part is not taking orders — it is stopping the same physical stock from appearing as available in more than one channel at once.
What we built
The e-commerce side was built from scratch on IdeaSoft. Product structure, category tree, variant logic and the payment flow were all designed from the ground up. The rest of the operation was then connected to that centre.
Marketplace integration. Every marketplace the company sells on runs through a single panel. Products, prices and stock are managed in one place instead of channel by channel.
Payment infrastructure. The iyzico virtual POS integration brought card payments and instalment options under the site’s control.
E-invoice integration. Whichever channel an order arrives from, invoicing runs automatically without manual data entry.
Shipping integration. Creating shipments, generating barcodes and passing tracking details to the customer were automated.
Measurement and reporting. Tracking infrastructure was set up, with a KPI dashboard on top of it. What each channel brings in is visible on a single screen.
The oversell problem
Stock synchronisation was the most critical technical part of this project.
Açık Medikal does not stand alone: PAPILEX+ and PEP Terapi belong to the same company and their product ranges partly overlap. Three separate sites, plus marketplace channels, all drawing from the same warehouse.
Stock and price synchronisation was brought into one panel covering all three brands. When a sale happens in one channel, stock drops everywhere else. That removed the risk of selling the same unit twice.
This is the essence of marketplace integration work: one inventory, many channels, instant synchronisation. We solve the same problem in hospitality, where it is called overbooking — the engineering is unchanged.
Server, maintenance and infrastructure
Server management and regular maintenance are on our side, along with email infrastructure and domain management. Updates, backups and performance monitoring run continuously.
Visibility
Once the infrastructure settled we moved to the demand side. We took over Google and Meta ad management and run the technical SEO and GEO work. Search intent in medical products is highly specific, which makes the structure of product and category pages more decisive than the ad side.
Ongoing work
The project started in 2025 and continues. We are still working on new marketplace channels, product range expansion and ad management.
