What sells the product is the product’s story
Antio Farm sells organic products native to the Hatay region of Turkey — olives, olive oil, pomegranate molasses, hazelnuts.
Competition in this category is not fought on price. The same kind of product is available in any supermarket; if a customer buys here, it is because they want to know where it came from. Who produced it, which area it came from and how it was processed are all part of the purchase decision.
That means the product page cannot be laid out like a conventional e-commerce page. The production narrative has to hold as much space as the price and the add-to-cart button, without pushing the purchase step out of the way.
The second issue in food is seasonality. Some products depend on the harvest period, so the catalogue does not stay fixed through the year.
What we built
The site was built on WordPress and WooCommerce. Product pages were structured to carry origin and production information, and while the category tree follows product type, bundled formats such as gift sets and sampler packs were also worked into the catalogue.
Payment, shipping and e-invoicing. Card payments run through the virtual POS, dispatch runs through the shipping integration, and invoicing is automated through the e-invoice integration. With food shipments delivery time is part of product quality, which made the shipping-side automation especially important here.
Visibility
Tracking infrastructure was set up and we run Meta ad management. Visual storytelling and the producer’s own story land well on social media for regional products, so Meta works strongly for this brand.
The SEO and GEO work targets informational searches such as “how to use” and “how to store” alongside product-name searches.
Server and maintenance
Management and regular maintenance of the hosting server sit with us: updates, backups and performance monitoring run continuously.
Ongoing work
The project started in 2023 and continues.
