Deciding to be treated in a country you have never visited
No1 Clinic is a dental clinic in Istanbul. Its audience is people living in Europe who are considering travelling to Türkiye for treatment.
That is a different marketing problem from ordinary healthcare. The patient cannot walk into the clinic, cannot meet the dentist beforehand, and once they decide they will book a flight and travel to another country. The hesitation here is not price — it is trust. Is the clinic real, who are the dentists, how does the process work, and what happens if something goes wrong?
The site has to answer all of that before the visitor thinks to ask. It also has to do it in a language that is not the visitor’s mother tongue in most cases, with clinical terminology carried across accurately rather than translated word for word.
What we built
We designed the website. The page structure is split by treatment type, and each treatment gets its own page explaining the procedure, how long it takes and what to expect.
Conversion-focused landing pages. The pages a visitor lands on first were built separately. In health tourism the conversion is not filling in a form — it is starting a conversation. Most patients want information and a quote before anything else, so the pages are arranged to make that first step as easy as possible.
Server and infrastructure. Server infrastructure, regular maintenance, email infrastructure and domain management sit with us. When traffic arrives from abroad, load time feeds straight into conversion, which makes the server side unusually important on this project.
Measurement
We set up the server-side tracking infrastructure. Ad management is not ours on this project, but the clinic still needs to see accurately which source produces patient enquiries while running its own channels. On a journey that takes weeks and involves several visits before a decision, browser-based measurement alone does not hold up.
We run the same set of services for different audiences on Dental Estetik UK and Dental Estetik Türkiye.
Ongoing work
The project is ongoing.
